About
I’m Aiden Knecht, a cybersecurity student at the University of Cincinnati, class of 2028, and CompTIA Security+ certified since May 2026. I like the investigative side of security: reading logs, asking what a number actually means, and writing down what I found so the next person doesn’t have to redo it.
This past summer I was on the IT security and infrastructure team at a medical device company. I triaged user-reported phishing, audited SSO across the company’s Entra applications, investigated shadow IT, and built a production pipeline that brings Cloudflare’s security insights into Microsoft Sentinel. I also work as a shift leader at Graeter’s, where I run the store when the manager isn’t there.
Now
I’m in Cincinnati, back in classes, and seeking a spring 2027 security co-op. The full history is on the experience page and the resume.
